4 killed in separate road accidents in Telangana
Suryapet/Yadadri-Bhongir: Four persons were killed in two separate road incidents that took place in Suryapet and Yadadri-Bhongir districts.
In the first incident, two youngsters were killed when a private bus hit the bike the duo was travelling on. The accident took place at Jangaon crossroads in Suryapet town on Tuesday late night. The deceased were identified as Sai Kiran (22) and Vinay Kumar (30) of Kuda Kuda of Chivemla mandal in the district.
According to sources, a private travel bus heading towards Vijayawada from Hyderabad hit the two-wheeler the youngsters were travelling while taking a turn at Jangaon crossroads. While Sai Kiran died on the spot, Vinay breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
After receiving information, local police rushed to the spot and shifted injured Vinay Kumar to area hospital in Suryapet for treatment. They also shifted the body of Sai Kiran to the same hospital for post-mortem.
Based on the complaint of the kin of the deceased, the Suryapet rural police registered a case and took up the investigation.
In the second incident that took place at Gundlapally of Choutuppal mandal in Yadadri-Bhongir district on Wednesday, a couple was killed when the bike the couple travelling on was hit by an auto-rickshaw.
The deceased were identified as Gangireddy Chandra Reddy (65) and his wife Sujathamma (55), natives of Swamulavari Lingotam village of Choutuppal mandal in the district.
Both Sujathamma and her husband Chandra Reddy died on the way to the hospital. Based on the complaint of the kin of the deceased, the Choutuppal police registered a case and initiated the probe.
