4 notorious property offenders held

Hyderabad: The North Zone Task Force sleuths on Thursday arrested four notorious property offenders, including two inter students, and recovered gold ornaments and cell phones from their possession.

According to police, the accused identified as M Arun Kumar (20), Manish Upadyaya (20), T Sanjay Singh (22) and R Akhil Kumar (20), had committed 8 offences under the leadership of Arun Kumar in the limits of Hyderabad and Rachakonda police Commissionerates. The accused are common friends and having criminal history and are addicted to ganja, liquor and other bad vices.

While moving on the stolen vehicles, on the way the accused target lonely male or female walking in the isolated areas.

They snatch golden chains and cell phones from the victims and share the booty to spend lavishly. On Thursday, when the accused were moving on the stolen vehicles to commit snatching, on credible information, the Task force sleuths laid a trap and apprehended the four accused.

Police verified 200 CCTV cameras and video footages at all possible places and detected the cases.

The police seized 10 gram gold, 200 gram silver ornaments, 4 bikes and one cell phone from their possession.
