4 sisters from Mahbubnagar attempt suicide for not getting married

Depressed over not getting married, four sisters of a family attempted suicide on Thursday. The incident occurred at Cherlapally of Jadcherla mandal.

They were shifted to a hospital in Mahbubnagar where the doctors declared that the condition of two is critical.

Getting into details, a couple Venkataiah and Sayamma have six daughters. Of them, two got married. However, the remaining four were upset with their life which led them into depression. On Thursday, the four sisters decided to end their lives and consumed pesticide.

In a similar incident, a 31-year-old man ended his life by jumping in front of a moving train at Necklace road station in Hyderabad.
