49 lakh seized; 3 held

Hyderabad: The North Zone Task Force officials on Thursday seized Rs 49 lakh cash under Osmania University police station limits.

During vehicle checking at Habsiguda, the police took three persons into custody when they were shifting the money from one car to another.

The net cash along with the persons was handed over to the OU police. During enquiry, the police found that the money belongs to a MP candidate contesting from Malkajgiri. Police are investigating.
