5-year-old girl killed in road accident - Nagarkurnool

Nagarkurnool: A five-year-old girl was killed in a road accident near Veltoor village of Uppuntala mandal in Nagarkurnool district on Wednesday.

According to Uppuntala police, a speeding two-wheeler lost control and the girl, who was riding on the bike with other two, fell into a trench and succumbed to the serious injuries she suffered in the incident.

The girl was sitting in the front fell and was grievously injured, while the other two on the bike received minor injuries.

"While we have shifted the dead body of the baby girl to the mortuary for post-mortem at Uppuntala government hospital, the two injured undergoing treatment at the hospital," said the police.
