588 selected for police constable jobs felicitated
Hyderabad: The Yadadri-Bhongir and Ranga Reddy Collectors along with Rachakonda Police Commissioner on Saturday felicitated the 588 unemployed youth, who were selected for police constable jobs through pre-recruitment training.
The Rachakonda police in association with Yadadri-Bhongir and Ranga Reddy district administration had taken up the pre-recruitment intensive coaching for the poor and rural youth of both the districts for empowering them to appear for police constable jobs.
As many as 1,453 youth were trained both indoor and outdoor for 15 months and finally 588 were succeeded in getting jobs.
The programme was initiated by Rachakonda CP Mahesh M Bhagwat as a part of Community Policing initiative 'Jayam Manade' in order to help the rural youth to understand the process of police recruitment and make them recruited by empowering them.
Many poor candidates, who could not afford coaching, have utilised the free coaching and got selected for the constable jobs.
A woman from Sainikpuri area, who attended the felicitation programme, shared success story of her two daughters and one son getting selected through pre-recruitment training at Amberpet police headquarters.
