7 paddy procurement centres launched in Mahbubnagar
Mahbubnagar: Seven paddy procurement centres have been launched under Mahbubnagar urban mandal limits on Friday.
Urban district Tahsildar Pardhasaradhi said that as per the directions of the State government, the revenue department with the help of AMC and MEPMA has decided to set up seven paddy procurement centres to ensure that paddy farmers do not face problems in selling their crop.
Rs 1,888 is offered to A grade and Rs 1,868 is offered to common grade paddy, he informed. Stating that all necessary facilities were provided at these centres, he urged the farmers to use the best opportunity.
All those farmers visiting the procurement centres were advised to carry one copy of pattadar passbook, Aadhar card and bank passbook along with the coupon number issued by the agriculture officer concerned. With these details, the government will deposit the amount in the farmers' bank accounts directly with in a few days after their produce was procured at the procurement centre.
