7,095 Inter students to go for re-verification

Vikarabad: After several speculations and confusions over the recently released inter exam results, many students heave a sigh of relief where they were facilitated for re-verification for free of cost.

Thousands of students from the district are eagerly waiting for the re-verification process after the state government announced it for free of cost. The students who are in the utter confusion are at least need not to spend additional amount for the unprecedented fiasco.

The district has a total of 50 junior colleges in government and private sector. In the first year, 7,792 students appeared for the examinations out of which 3,555 were passed. A total of 4,237 students failed in the exams. Among them were 2,288 boys and 1,949 girls.In the second year, 6,508 students were appeared and 3,650 were passed. As many as 2,858 students filed. Among them were 1,536 boys and 1,322 girls.

With the state government's decision, 7,095 students got the opportunity to check whether the results are correct or not. A student has to pay Rs 600 for re-verification and Rs 100 for re-counting. But, both are free for this time, a total cost of Rs 47.57 lakh has been saved for the district.

This gesture is in fact consolation for the students of poor and rural district of Vikarabad. However, those who have passed will have to pay the fees as on 27th of this month.

Inter mediate is a crucial stage for students. These examinations are crucial to their future. Steps will be taken to manage the advances supplementary examination without losing the academic year.
