74-year-old kidney patient tests corona positive in Narayanpet

Narayanpet: 74-year-old kidney patient, who was admitted to Osmania General Hospital a few days ago for treatment, has on Monday diagnosed with Covid-19. With this, the

district authorities got alerted and had taken all necessary preventive measures to stop the virus from spreading further in the district.

District health officials visited Venkatapuram village of Marikal mandal, the patient's native place, and conducted sanitary measures like spraying hypochlorite solution. Later, they kept all the family members and relatives, who were in touch with the patient, under home quarantine. District police, revenue and health departments officials put restrictions on public movement in the village due to the outbreak.
