ABVP demands govt to release fee dues
Nalgonda: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad State working committee member K Revanth demanded the State government to release the dues of fee reimbursement of Rs 3,400 crore to the students immediately.
On Tuesday, speaking to the media in Nalgonda, he said the State government was playing with the lives of the students by not releasing the dues. He warned the State government that on behalf of students, ABVP was getting ready to launch agitation in a big way across the State.
District convener Bharath informed that State government has to pay dues amounting Rs 1,300 crore for 2018-19 and Rs 2,100 crore for 2019-20 academic years.
Stating poor students were unable continue the higher studies due to government's anti-student polices, he demanded the government to show its commitment towards education sector by releasing pending dues in a single go. Parishad leaders Laxman, Arpitha, Ramesh, Haribabu and others attended the press meet.
