Act against pvt schools going against rules
Karimnagar: The members of Telugu Nadu Student Federation (TNSF) on Thursday demanded the government to take immediate action against the management of private schools that are running against the rules.
Led by TNSF district president Tekula Shravan Kumar, the members submitted a memorandum in this regard to District Education Officer Venkateswarlu at his office in Karimnagar on the day.
Speaking on the occasion, TNSF State general secretary Parlapalli Ravinder said the management of private schools present across the district are trying to cheat parents with false publicity in the name of e-techno, digi-classes, CBSE syllabus etc. But not implementing them after the admission, he added.
The management of private schools are not even following the rules issued by the education department. They are setting up big hoardings and flexis against the rules to attract parents and students. Apart from that they are exerting pressure on the staff by fixing targets and asking them to visit every house to get admissions.
By charging huge amounts of fees along with collecting money in the name of books, uniform and other materials, they are looting the innocent parents, Ravinder alleged.
He demanded the officials of education department to take immediate action against the management of such schools. Otherwise they would intensify the agitation in front of such schools, Ravinder warned.
