Address land issues immediately, Joint Collector tells officials in Khammam

Khammam: Joint Collector Adarsh Surbhi chaired the Grievance Day programme at the Collectorate on Monday and directed the officials concerned to hand over passbooks to the farmers as early as possible.

Speaking at a meeting conducted with the Tahsildars before the start of the programme, he said a large number of pleas received in earlier programmes were related to land issues seeking modifications and corrections in the passbook.

He directed the officials to clear the issues immediately at mandal-level. Meanwhile, during the programme, the Joint Collector received a large number of pleas with regard to allotment of double bedroom houses, jobs, loans and Rythu Bandhu scheme.

Kallur Revenue Divisional Officer Sivaji, administration officer at the Collector's Office V Madhan Gopal and officials of various departments and Tahsildars attended the programme.
