Adilabad: Coronavirus spreads again with migrants
Adilabad: The number of corona positive cases in the joint Adilabad district increased to 52. According to the officials, the rise in positive cases is because of the migrant workers, who returned from Maharashtra to their native State of Telangana.
In agency area, the number of corona cases reached to eight. On June 3, five patients tested positive and on June 4 three patients tested corona positive in Utnoor mandal in Adilabad district.
Several migrant workers are returning to their native places as the lockdown is continued.
Police and medical and health department officials are keeping the migrant laborers in quarantine and collecting their blood samples for testing for the virus.
Meanwhile, corona positives cases in Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial and Asifabad districts has reached 52. In Mancherial district, 36 corona positive cases registered from Luxettipet, Dandepalli, Jannaram and Hazipur mandals. Three migrant workers, who returned from Mumbai, were tested positive. In Asifabad district, six corona positive cases registered in Jainoor mandal.
Many positive cases have no symptoms of coronavirus like cough, cold or fever and any other respiratory problems.
