Adilabad: The Adilabad district should be in the first place in milk industry, said District Collector D Divya while addressing a meeting with the beneficiaries of military dairy cattle at TTDC Hall in Adilabad on Thursday.
The Collector said that 257 cattle have been sanctioned and distributed to the family members of farmers, who committed suicide, aboriginal tribes, who gave representation in the Grievance Cell program. By rearing cattle and milk production, both women and children will become healthy and also will grow financially by improving milk production.
The beneficiaries were told to take the suggestions and advices of Animal Husbandry officers, veterinary doctors from time to time to maintain the cattle in good health. DVHO Dr Suresh, AD Ramarao, Bheema Officer Vinod Deshpandy, PMRDF Rajesh and beneficiaries were present.
