Adilabad records 43 degrees C

Adilabad: Extreme heat conditions are prevailing in Adilabad district from the beginning of April month. With highest temperature recorded as 43.4 degree Celsius, the people are forced to remain indoors in the district. It's hottest from 2 pm to 4 PM in the joint district.

Maximum temperature are recorded between 40 to 43 degrees Celsius, which is 2 to 3 degrees above normal in some areas. Normal life was affected in Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, and Komaram Bheem-Asifabad districts as most parts of joint districts reeled under heatwave conditions. Heatwave and humid conditions are prevailing from the early hours of the day till evening.

People were afraid to come out after 10 am to 5 pm. The main roads in the city are looking deserted.

Adilabad recorded 43.4 degrees Celsius on Saturday. People are sticking to air-conditioners and water coolers to get relief from heat.

Doctors are advising people not to go out in the heat wave. Meanwhile, demand for cool drinks increased.
