Ailing kids uncared for at hostel whole night

Parigi: Negligence of officials made ailing children at a hostel suffer more! The students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential School at Tumukulagadda fell sick after having dinner. They suffered vomiting and became weak.

The stationed medical officer of the hostel left for his home two days ago due to fever. None from the hostel side bothered to take the suffering students to hospital leaving them in serious condition.

Next day morning the boys were taken to government hospital as they were still suffering from vomiting. Though it was an emergency and immediate treatment of the children should have been initiated, the doctor told them to wait until he returned. The suffering children waited for an hour for the doctor.

Locals who came to know about the incident fumed over the negligent attitude of both hostel and medical authorities during emergency. They questioned who would be blamed if any unwanted incident happened? They also demanded appropriate action against the negligent officials.
