All set for Class 10 exams in Hyd district

Hyderabad: B Venkata Narsamma, Hyderabad District Education Officer (DEO), said that all the arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of tenth class examination to be held from March 16.

As many as 69,225 regular students would appear for the exam in 306 examination centres and 12,560 students, who failed last year, would appear for the exam in 57 centres, she said.

During the examination hours, section 144 would be in effect at the centres.

Special RTC buses would be run from various locations for the exam, she said.

For proper conduct of the exams, 21 flying squads have been formed in the district and sitting squads would monitor the situation at some centres as per the requirement, the DEO said.

The DEO urged the students appearing for the exam to arrive at their respective centers one hour before the exam and students who arrive after 9.35 am would not be allowed into the centres.

Students who fail to get their hall tickets or lost could download from the website www.bse.telangana.gov.in, she informed.

A control room has been established at DEO office, Basheerbagh and students can clarify their doubts by calling the number 040-29701474 any time, DEO Narsamma said.
