All set for counting of votes of ZPTC, MPTC polls in Mahbubnagar

Mahbubnagar: The district administrations of Mahbubnagar, Gadwal, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet and Wanaparthy districts have kept everything in place to ensure that the ZPTC, MPTC vote counting is carried out in a smooth and peaceful manner across erstwhile Mahbubnagar district on Tuesday.

In Mahbubnagar district, District Collector Ronal Rose took stock of arrangements for the counting process. The officials have made arrangements at six centres of Mahbubnagar, Hanwada, Koilkonda, Devarkadra, Moosapet and CC Kunta mandal headquarters.

In Gadwal, the district officials arranged the counting centre in the Polytechnic College at Gundlapadu village in Gadwal district headquarter and similarly the counting will also be carried out at mandal headquarters of Dharur, KT Doddi, Gattu and Maldakal mandals. To ensure no untoward event takes place, the district administration has deployed adequate police force at all the centres in Gadwal.

In Nagarkurnool district, the officials have arranged counting centre in Venkateshwara Degree College at Palam village, Geetanjali Junior College in Nagarkurnool district headquarter, CBM Junior College in Kalwakurthy and GSN Junior College in Achampet. The police have taken all measures to ensure the security is tight at all counting stations.

Similar preparations are also done in Wanaparthy and Narayanpet districts where the respective District Collectors inspected the arrangements to ensure that the counting process is carried out in a peaceful manner.
