Amgoth Tukaram meets KTR

Hyderabad: Telangana's Amgoth Tukaram, who scaled Mt. Everest, met TRS Working President K. Tarakarama Rao here on Friday.

KTR warmly received Tukaram and congratulated him for successfully scaling the Everest.

In a brief interaction with the young mountaineer, KTR enquired about the challenges he faced while scaling the summit. He appreciated Tukaram for his achievement and stated that the Government of Telangana would extend help to the young mountaineer wherever he required assistance.

Tukaram has successfully climbed Mt.Everest (8,848 meters), on 22nd May 2019, the World's highest peak from South Col, toughest route of Nepal, India and thus became the "South India's Youngest Mountaineer to Summit Mt.Everest from South Col route."

Earlier, Tukaram entered the Limca book of records by scaling Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2018.

Amogh Tukaram was interested in climbing mountains since he was 17 years old. With the help of a few Telangana officials, he succeeded in scaling the Everest.
