Amit Shah to visit Hyderabad on March 15

To address a gathering on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Union home minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Hyderabad on March 15. The meeting will be held at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in the evening.

It is learned that the BJP leaders have sought the dates on March 7 and 14, but is rescheduled on March 15 after Shah asked the party leaders. Arrangements are underway by the BJP leaders to make the meeting a grand success.

As per the sources, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is also likely to take part in the meeting.

Amit Shah's meeting on CAA assumes significance after the TRS government opposed the act. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has proposed a meeting on anti-CAA with the participation of 10 lakh people. He also said that a bill against CAA will be passed in the upcoming budget session.
