Anganwadi staff union representatives call on Nama Nageswara Rao in Khammam
Khammam: The representatives of Anganwadi Teachers and Workers Union affiliated to ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi met Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao on Tuesday at Parliament house in Delhi.
After interacting with the representatives, Nama said the State government was giving importance to Anganwadis and their staff and in this regard, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had enhanced their salaries.
Stating that State government was laying its focus on Health department, he asked them to take steps to improve the number of institutional deliveries.
He added that the government has arranged 100-bedded hospital in every mandal. The leaders of the Union Parijatam, Kalavathi, Usha, Karuna and others met the MP on the day.
