Appointment of district court judges in January: HC CJ Raghavendra

Karimnagar: The High Court Chief Justice, Raghavendra Singh Chouhan on Saturday inaugurated the POCSO court along with family court, water plant and e-filling centre here at the premises of District Court in Karimnagar district.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chouhan said that steps would be taken for strengthening of judicial system in the state. He also said that several courts and building are present separately in the district court complex here in Karimnagar district. In the place of them, a new integrated court building with all facilities will be constructed using modern technology very soon.

Steps also would be taken for filling the vacant posts which are vacant in various courts by the January second week. For giving training to lawyers to learn professional skills, measured are taken for the construction of an Advocates Academy in about 10 to 15 acres of land in Hyderabad, he informed.

In Karimnagar district court, about 762 civil cases, 20 criminal cases and 80 other cases were in pending from the past 10 years. He suggested the court judges to solve the old cases which have been pending for several years as early as possible. Some of the cases can be solved through Lok Adhalat. So the people must utilise Lok Adalat through which their cases can be solved very quickly, he suggested.

High Court Judge Naveen Rao speaking on the occasion said that in Karimnagar new model court will provide all facilities. High Court Judge Challa Kondaram Ram, speaking on the occasion said that due pending cases in various courts, tribunal courts are being established.

All the issues pertaining to the court will be solved along with providing required facilities, it is the responsibility of the lawyers also for strengthening of judicial system and must participate in it. The Principal District Sessions Judge Anupama Chakravarthi, District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed, State Bar Association members K Laxman Kumar and District Bar Association member Raj Kumar were present.
