Appreciable rise in night temperatures in hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Met department has warned of thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur on February 8 at isolated places across Telangana. The department bulletin said on Friday that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few places over the State from February 8 to 11. No large change during the period February 12-14 is the weather outlook. The thundershowers and rain is attributed to the cyclonic circulation over Madhya Maharashtra and its neighborhood, which now lies over Marathawada and extends up to 0.9 Km above the mean sea level. The trough in easterlies up to 0.9 km above the mean sea level from south interior Karnataka to the centre of the cyclonic circulation over Madhya Maharashtra and its neighborhood across north interior Karnataka has become less marked. The cyclonic circulation over north coastal Andhra and the adjoining interior Odisha, extending up to 0.9 km above the mean sea level, has become less marked.

Meanwhile, the lowest night temperature of 15.8 degress Celsius was recorded in Nalgonda. The other temperatures, which recorded an appreciable rise by 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius in some parts and were appreciably above normal.
