Appreciable rise in night temperatures in Medak
Medak: Many parts of the State registered an appreciable rise in night temperatures ranging from 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours, ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday .
There was a marked rise by 4.1 degrees Celsius or more in some parts, the Met department bulletin said. The temperatures were markedly above normal by 5.1 degrees Celsius or more in some others, as mainly low level South Westerlies (winds) prevailed in the State.
According to the bulletin, the lowest minimum temperature of 16 degrees Celsius was recorded in Nalgonda. The other temperatures registered in the State were: Medak (17.3), Hakimpet (17.7), Dundigal (18.3), Nizamabad (18.7), Hanamkonda (19), Khammam (20), Hyderabad (20.4), Mahbubnagar & Adilabad (20.5) each, Ramagundam (21.5) and Bhadrachalam (23).
Meanwhile, the forecast said dry weather very likely to prevail over Telangana from January 29 to February 1. No large change during the period Febuary 2-4 is the weather outlook.
