Arrangements in place for phase 1 Parishad polls in Kothagudem

Kothagudem: Joint Collector K Venkateswarlu directed the election officers to transport the election materials on May 5. On Thursday, he conducted a meeting with the officers and warned of strict action against those who skip their election duties.

It can be recalled that the first phase of Parishad elections are slated to be held on May 6. The elections will be conducted in Mulkalapally, Tekulagudem, Dummagudem, Charla, Palvoncha, Burgumpahad and Aswapuram mandals.

The Joint Collector added that the campaigning would end on May 4 evening. On 6th, the polling will from 7 am to 5 pm. Informing that voter slips have been distributed by the staff, Venkateswarlu appealed to the people to come early and cast their due to summer.
