Mahbubnagar: Soon after conclusion of counting, BJP MP candidate DK Aruna threw a challenge to TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao asking him to resign and call for elections once again if he had guts. She said that the entire country was under the BJP's wind and TRS party would get completely wiped out from the State if the Assembly elections were held now. "The people of India have blessed Narendra Modi to be the Prime Minister for the second time. The TRS party which was boasting of winning 16 MP seats is confined to just eight. This is a slap on the face of the TRS party. At least now the TRS government should mend its ways and work for the development and betterment of the people and shun corruption, or else the BJP will confront them and will not leave them until the people get justice," said Aruna.

She thanked the people of Mahbubnagar for reposing confidence in her and said that the BJP cadre and the people of Palamuru have supported her and responded to her call in a short span of period. She thanked each and every BJP activist who had worked for her and said that she respects the people's verdict and will take the opportunity to serve the people by taking their problems to the government.

"Thought I have lost the elections technically, we have won against the TRS morally. The people of Telangana have given an apt verdict and broke the overconfidence of TRS party by defeating KCR's daughter Kavita in Nizamabad. Now the BJP in Telangana will confront the TRS government's corruption in all the irrigation projects, Mission Bhagiratha and will take on them against the government's anti-people policies," said the BJP leader.

Meanwhile, Nagarkurnool MP candidate P Ramulu who won from TRS party with highest majority said that he would work for the development of Nagarkurnool parliamentary constituency and thanked all the TRS MLAs, MLCs, and local leaders and the people of the seven Assembly constituencies. "I feel privileged to have been elected as TRS MP from Nagarkurnool. Besides, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, I thank Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, who is in-charge for the Nagarkurnool constituency, for working tirelessly for my win. I am really lucky to have got such a huge majority and would strive to meet people's expectations," said P Ramulu.

Manne Srinivas Reddy of TRS party, who won Mahbubnagar Parliamentary constituency also thanked KCR for giving him the ticket and reposing confidence in him. He also thanked Mahbubnagar MLA K Srinivas Goud who had tirelessly worked for his victory. "In spite of many allegations by the opposition parties for giving me TRS MP ticket, the people have chosen me. I thank each and every voter who had supported me and will for the development of Mahbubnagar Parliamentary constituency," said Manne Srinivas Reddy.
