Warangal: In a gesture, the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) has come forward to install a Rs 20-lakh waste-water treatment plant at the social welfare residential school at Madikonda as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR).

In this backdrop, ASCI representative P Rajamohan Reddy and Johkasou Director (Sales and Marketing) Rio Waza have met Warangal Urban District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil on Thursday. The duo informed the Collector about the eco-friendly water treatment plant based on Japanese Johkasou technology.

It will take three weeks to install the 40-kilo-liter a day capacity waste-water treatment plant, the officials said. Rajamohan Reddy said it will take just about 20 minutes once in a month for the maintenance of the treatment plant. He said that after the installation, the plant will be maintained by them for six months; thereafter the institution will have to take care of it.
