Asifabad: NCPCR team to visit the district on December 13
Asifabad: Informing that a team of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) led by its member Pragna Parande will visit Komaram Bheem-Asifabad district on December 13, District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu said that the member will receive petitions of violations of child rights, education, health, welfare and development.
The Collector assigned duties to the officials at a meeting with the district administration at the Collector's conference hall in Asifabad on Wednesday. He said that the NCPCR team of New Delhi will reach the district on December 10 and will participate in a meeting with NGOs on December 11; meeting with district officials on December on 12; and a bench will be organised on December 13.
The Collector told the officers concerned to organise stalls, to arrange 10 computers, data entry operators at registration counter, to arrange Telugu, Hindi, English teachers for translation purpose, NCC volunteers, stage arrangements, drinking water and other arrangements. Collector also ordered the 15 mandal operators to report to the office before 9 am on December 13. All the district officers must attend the meeting and no one should go on leave, he ordered. The Collector told the CDPOs to take pictures of awareness programmes.
Joint Collector P Rambabu, District Special Officer Pratik Jain, IAS trainee Collector Hemanth Sahadev, RDO Siddam Dattu, officials of various departments, tahsildars and others were present.
