Asifabad SP warns of action for delay in registering cases

Asifabad: Register a case soon after the crime occurs, Superintendent of Police Malla Reddy said while addressing a review meeting on pending cases held in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on Thursday. The SP warned of actions if police officials who delay in registering the case.

He instructed the police officers to monitor and to give instruction to function vertical reception, Blue Colt, patrol car, crime take team, writers vertical, and to maintain non-bailable warrant records according to the court records and execute arrests as soon as possible.

He also told the enforcement work wing to conduct regular checking at lodges, vehicles, liquor shops and bus stands. Police should work with determination to solve the cases and utilise technological knowledge. To investigate robbery cases in all angles to recover the property and to conduct regular drives against drunken driving.

And to conduct special drives to control overloading autos which carry school children, to avoid loss of human lives, SP also told officers to create awareness among the school and college students and ragging and eve-teasing and on women laws.

He also asked them to encourage village development committees to arrange CCTV surveillance cameras in every village. And immediately complete pending oral inquiry cases and keep an eye on sand mining, gutka, and gambling, betting and register cases on those criminals, the SP said.

He also instructed the police officials to implement 5S system in every police stations and circle offices, and focus on proactive policing before the crime is committed.

SP awarded the best police offices with rewards on the occasion.
