Auto-rickshaw driver attempts suicide at CM camp office in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 40-year-old auto-rickshaw driver attempted suicide at Chief Minister's camp office here on Sunday.

Mahesh, a resident of Old Malakpet has gone to the CM's camp office in his auto-rickshaw bearing registration number (AP11AK8905) on Sunday night and consumed phenyl. The security personnel who noticed the scene prevented him from committing suicide and sent him to Yashoda hospital at Somajiguda.

The Punjagutta police registered a case and are probing into it. They suspected that family issues might have driven him to attempt suicide.
