Avoid accidents with human errors: District Transport Officer Vani

Nizamabad: District Transport Officer Dr. Vani asked the students to request their parents and elderly people not to drive vehicles after consuming alcohol, as more accidents are taking place due to human error.

A rally and an awareness seminar were conducted at Bichkunda mandal headquarters on Wednesday as part of Road Safety Week celebrations. Speaking at the seminar, DTO Dr Vani observed that most of the accidents took place due to negligence and lack of proper training. She explained the precautionary measures to be taken in case of accidents to college and school students. She urged the motorists to wear helmets while driving and said that most of the accidents can be avoided if one drives vehicle without drinking alcohol or talking on a cell phone.

DSP Damodar Reddy said caution should be taken at road crossings and many road accidents were caused due to drunk driving in the recent past. Banswada MVI Sadula Srinivas, J Srinivas, Bichkunda CI Sajid Ulla, AMVI Srinivas, officials of various departments were present at the seminar.
