Avoid electrical related accidents in Nizamabad: SE Sudarshanam
Nizamabad: TSNPDCL district Superintendent Engineer (SE) Sudarshanam said that problems of the consumers should be avoided while preventing electrical related accidents.
On Thursday, he met the town subdivision staff here after receiving information from the staff about all types of electrical issues at a meeting, especially in the town. Hence the authorities have been instructed to solve the problems.
Sudarshanam directed the staff to correct all the loose lines quickly and to raise the electric cables crossing the R&B and Panchayat Raj roads higher. When a vehicle is moving at high loads, there is always a possibility that the wires may touch the vehicle thus interrupting the power supply and causing short circuit to the vehicle, causing fire accident. In such incidents, people on the vehicles may die.
The SE said all the transformers should be placed on a high platform and set up a fencing around it so that children and others may not go near the transformer. He also told the staff to remove broken poles and ordered to take all precautions so as not to cause danger to animals and people. The government has decided to resolve all these issues during the Power Week programme.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Executive Engineer Venkatramana, ADE Ashok and Town AEs, sub-engineers, FM, line inspector, linemen and others.
