Awareness drive on hand wash conducted at ZPHS Marikal

Narayanpet: Stressing that each and every student must inculcate the habit of 'hand wash' before taking every meal, the school authorities at Zilla Parishad High School in Marikal mandal of Narayanpet district along with the representatives of Medimix Soap Company, who visited the school, conducted a large scale awareness campaign on hand wash and personal hygiene.

While speaking on the occasion, P Balalingaiah, a senior teacher at ZPHS Marikal said that though it may look like a silly thing to promote awareness about a simple issue like hand wash, in a big way, however, he stressed that a simple hand wash plays a significant role in keeping the people hail and healthy all through their lives.

The senior teacher said that each and every student must be given awareness about their personal hygiene and simple cleanliness habits like hand wash. "We all know about a saying 'health is wealth,' however, this is possible only if we follow a simple cleanliness habit of washing our hand before having a meal.

If we can follow the habit of hand wash, we can avoid many health issues and we can keep our bodies free from diseases. Particularly the children must learn this good habit of cleaning hands and they should pass on this to others also," said Balalingaiah.

On the occasion the representatives from Medimix Soap Company distributed Medimix soaps worth Rs 20-30, to more than 730 students free of cost. The schoolteachers thanked Sydulu, the territory sales representative of Medimix Soap Company for choosing their school for creating awareness on hand wash.

In charge Headmaster Gayathri, schoolteachers from ZPHS Annaiah, Srinivas, Jayavardan, Vijay Jagadeesh, Swaroopam, Anitha, Sami, Dattatreya and students participated in the programme.
