Babu Rajendra Prasad demands check power to sarpanches

Panchayat Raj national chamber president Babu Rajendra Prasad demanded check power to the sarpanches of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The Telangana and Andhra Pradesh panchayat chambers held a meeting today and urged the government to issue check power to sarpanches. It also demanded to fulfil the promises made by the TRS government to the panchayats in the state and threatened to stage protest to meet the demands.
