Badibata launched to pull students towards government schools in Wanaparthy

Wanaparthy: With all the government schools scheduled to be open on June 12, on Wednesday, the Anganwadi teachers along with Sarpanch of Kotta Sugoor village in Pebbair mandal of Wanaparthy district launched the Badibata programme and took out a rally to spread awareness about the importance of school education to the villagers.

Kotta Sugoor Sarpanch Judam Venkatesh, along with Anganwadi teacher Rani visited each and every household in the village to spread awareness about the importance of joining their children in State-run schools. "We have taken the initiative of spreading the awareness about importance of school education to children, and meeting people of every household in the village and urging them to send their children above three years to Anganwadi schools, while those above five years to government schools. Our slogan is 'Private Schools Vaddu—Government School Muddu' and this time, we are aiming to ensure that 100 per cent children in the village get enrolled into government-run schools," said Judam Venkatesh.

Adding further, the Sarpanch said that it was the responsibility of each and every parent to see that their children get good nutritious food and at the same time gain the knowledge so that in future they could read and write and be able to reach greater heights in their lives.

Asha worker Bharati, Anganwadi Aaya Sayamma, volunteer Kurumanna , Beechupally Yadav and other youth from the village took part in the Badibata awareness programme in Pebbair.
