Bank in Hyderabad vacates office after employee dies of coronavirus
A prominent bank has vacated its commercial branch office in Koti in the city after an employee dies of coronavirus.
According to the officials, the employee had visited the office a few days ago before he succumbed to the deadly disease. And as a precautionary measure, the entire office is being vacated by the GHMC and the police.
The office and its surroundings are being sanitized by spraying disinfectants and the health status of 40 employees is also being tested, the officials said.
On Sunday, the state reported 42 positive cases of coronavirus including three migrants taking the overall number of Covid-19 cases in the State to 1,551. The cases recorded from the city's GHMC area and Rangareddy. The officials also discharged 21 patients on Sunday taking the total number of recovery cases to 992. Currently, there are 525 active coronavirus cases in the state.
