Nalgonda: Barricades set up to avert mishaps near Mahatma Gandhi varsity
Nalgonda: Komatireddy Pratheek Foundation has arranged eight barricades at the Mahatma Gandhi University for the safety of students, staff and visitors who come to the varsity every day.
On Thursday, on the request of university authorities and the Police department, Bhongir MP Komatireddy has donated eight barricades which were handed over to the Police department by chief executive officer of the foundation MV Gona Reddy and Vamshi in the presence of the Registrar Professor M Yadagiri.
Speaking on the occasion, Gona Reddy informed that the Foundation has been taking up a lot of work on the premises of university such as constructing rainwater harvesting pits, cleaning the ground for plantation and developing greenery. Students, staff and the Registrar thanked the Foundation chairman Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for the help.
