Basaveswara jayanti held grandly

Jharasangam: The 886th birth anniversary celebrations of Basaveswara were organised on a grand note in the mandal on Tuesday.

The seer of Sri Dattagiri Maharaj Ashram Avadhuta Giri Maharaj garlanded the statue of Basaveswara in Bardipur village and offered special prayers. Later, addressing the people, Giri Maharaj explained about the preachings of Basaveswara.
