Be self-disciplined, Speaker advises new ZP chiefs in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy suggested the newly sowrn in ZP chairpersons and others to be self-disciplined, then only the political system will be respected, after Dadannagari Vittal Rao took oath as Nizamabad ZP chairman here on Friday.

Speaker and R&B Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy attended the event and congratulated the ZP chairman. The Speaker urged the local public representatives to take up the issue in the House to resolve every problem in villages.

Transport, R&B, Legislature Affairs and Housing Minister V Prashanth Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is trying to strengthen local bodies by providing funds, powers and responsibilities. "The Chief Minister's ambition is to create a State of Bangaru Telangana by providing plenty of water for both irrigation and drinking purposes," the Minister said.

Stating that KCR is striving hard to meet the needs of Sri Ram Sagar Project resurrection and drinking and irrigation water needs of the district, Prashanth Reddy assured that every acre in the district will be cultivated.
