Bhadrachalam: Maoist pamphlets appear in Cherla
Cherla (Bhadrachalam): Maoists pamphlets appeared at Poojarigudem (Lenin Colony) at Cherla headquarters on Friday.
The pamphlets were released in the name of CPI (Maoist) Bhadradri Kothagudem – East Godavari Divisional Committee.
In the pamphlets, the Maoists denied the allegations made by Kothagudem Superintendent of Police that the Naxals were robbing grocery items from tribal people in agency villages. They termed the allegation false.
They demanded 100 per cent reservations in agency areas and implementation of GO No 3 and condemned quashing of GO No 3 by the Supreme Court.
They also condemned the alleged attack of forest officers on a shepherd at Udaypur recently and warned forest officials of punishment in the hands of public.
