Bhadrachalam: RTC strike affects Girijana Darbar

Bhadrachalam: Only a few tribals attended the Girijana Darbar programme at the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) office in Bhadrachalam on Monday.

Due to the ongoing RTC strike, not many tribals attended the programme to submit their pleas to the officials at ITDA.

Usually, a large number of tribals turn up for the programme conducted every Monday.

However, due to ongoing RTC strike and with only few bus services available, not many tribals have been attending the programme for the last a few Mondays.

"There are no bus facilities to come to the ITDA office and submit the pleas," Kannaiah, a tribal said. Only a few who were able to come in auto-rickshaws and on their own vehicles were able to attend the programme.
