Bhadradri: Govt. school headmaster booked for allegedly raping 5 girls
The police registered a case against the 40-year-old headmaster of a government primary school on Tuesday for allegedly raping five girls aged between 7 and 11 years since August 2020.
The police said that the principal forced them to watch obscene content before sexually exploiting the girls and later threatened to harm them if they spoke about the assault. However, the incident came to light when two of the girls fell sick and hospitalized. The seven-year-old girl during the treatment told her mother about being sexually violated by the headmaster.
On the complaint of the girl's parents, the police registered a case and during the investigation, they found that only one girl but also four other students of the same school.
"The accused, a headmaster and a teacher began going to school on rotation from August after the lockdown was eased. When the accused was on duty, he would take the girls from their houses which falls under Lakshmidevpally with him under the pretext of taking classes and commit the crime," the police said.
The police sent the girls for medical examination and said that their statement will be recorded soon. Meanwhile, the police launched efforts to trace him who has gone absconding. A case under section 376 of the IPC and the POCSO act registered against the headmaster.
