Bhadradri Lord pockets 73.38 lakh as hundi offerings

Bhadrachalam: The hundi income of Lord Rama temple in Bhadrachalam for 37 days stood at Rs 73.38 lakh, informed temple Executive Officer G Narasimhulu. Revealing the details of hundi income to the media here on Wednesday, the EO said 60 grams gold, 600 grams silver and dollars of other countries were received as hundi offering besides Indian currency.

Hundi counting was conducted earlier on December 30. Meanwhile, the temple priests performed special pujas in the temple on account of Magha Masam. The celestial wedding of the Lord was performed at the Beda Mandapam where a large number of devotees attended.
