Bhongir: Instead of razing Secretariat, pay Arogyasri bills, Komati Sr demands government

Bhongir: Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stated that the court direction on the demolition of Secretariat building was a slap on the face of the State government.

Addressing the media in Bhongir on Wednesday, Komatireddy said the court direction has improved the faith of people on the judiciary.

"Congress is against the demolition of good-conditioned Secretariat building in the name of Vaastu when the State is reeling under deficit budget," the MP added.

He warned of obstructing the demolition with over a million people if the government goes ahead with its unidirectional attitude. He suggested the government to pay Arogyasri dues to hospitals to save the poor from dengue and other terrible diseases instead of razing the Secretariat building.

Komatireddy mocked the TRS for seeking the support CPI and exuded confidence that Congress candidate N Padmavathi Reddy would win the election with a record majority in Huzurnagar bypoll. Party local leaders attended the press meet.
