BJP appeals to electorate to vote for stability
Hyderabad: BJP State president K Laxman here on Monday said vote for the BJP is a vote for a stable government at the Centre. It would also contribute to the development of Telangana State.
Addressing party workers after the party candidate from Secunderabad G Kishan Reddy filing his nomination at the Hyderabad District Collectorate here, he said it would make no difference whether the TRS won one or 16 seats to the Telangana State.
A victory of the BJP candidates would not only ensure a stable government at the Centre but also checkmate corruption-ridden and dynastic politics in the country.
Former Union Minister and sitting BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya said the party had fielded 17 candidates for all the Parliamentary constituencies. All the candidates had filed their nominations on Monday and their victory would give a fillip to the development of the State.
Those who aspired development of Telangana should extend their support to bring back Prime Minister Narendra Modi to power, he added. Kishan Reddy said there was little time left for the polling and the party would intensify its election campaign in the days to come.
He said the TRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would not become Prime Minister even if TRS won all the 16 seats.
N Ramachander Rao, party candidate from the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency, took part in the rally from Cherial village crossroads to the Medchal District Collector's office in Keesra and filed his nomination papers in the morning.
Similarly, party candidates from Chevella, Nizamabad, Warangal and other Parliamentary constituencies took out rallies and filed nominations on Monday morning.
