BJP asks KCR to develop all villages akin to Chintamadaka

Mahbubnagar: Senior BJP leader D K Aruna on Thursday accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of being partial to his native village, Chintamadaka, by granting Rs 10 lakh aid to each household, while ignoring the poor in other areas across the State, she said.

While addressing a press conference in Wanaparthy, Aruna said the Chief Minister was partial to a section of people from his village, while ignoring the poor across the State. "I think KCR is forgetting that he is the Chief Minister for the entire Telangana State and not just to his own village.

Offering Rs. 10 lakh to each household in his village was showing partiality to his village, while ignoring other poor families across the State. Instead of offering such gifts, the Chief Minister should have come out with a strategic policy so that all villages like Chintamadaka can benefit," said the BJP leader. Aruna hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing in Triple Talaq Act.

Now the Muslim women can free themselves from the clutches of the age-old tradition of Triple Talaq which has ruined the lives of millions of womenfolks in the country. While taking on the Chief Minister, Aruna said the TRS party had made false promises during elections and even after six months had passed since it came to power for the second term, the government had not released Rytu Bhandu subsidy to farmers and failed to fulfil the promise of loan waiver, etc.

"They made big promises during elections and even promised to reduce the pension age to 57 years, but in reality, it was not so far implemented, she said. The BJP leader demanded that the Chief Minister immediately fulfil all the promises and grant Rs 3,000 unemployment allowance to the unemployed.
