BJP builds temples to Godse while praising Gandhi, says Congress
Hyderabad: AICC Telangana State in-charge RC Khuntia on Thursday alleged that the BJP leaders talk much about Mahatma Gandhi, but they built temples for his assassin Nathuram Godse. He also alleged that the BJP leaders had used Gandhiji's spectacles and his name for their publicity.
Addressing the media, he urged the party leaders to work hard for the victory of Padmavathi Reddy in Huzurnagar bypoll. He said senior party leaders like Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Jana Reddy, Revanth Reddy and TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy would feverishly campaign for the party candidate.
He also alleged that the ruling party leaders have conspired to defeat Padmavathi Reddy in Kodad Assembly constituency in the last year's Assembly elections. Khuntia said the TRS had lost elections in seven Lok Sabha seats.
Alleging that the ruling party was scared of facing a defeat at Huzurnagar, Khuntia stated the fear of defeat had prompted the TRS to seek support of the CPI. He made it clear that the ruling TRS would be defeated in Huzurnagar Assembly bypoll.
