BJP condemns attack on Dalit leader complained against Swarose Organisation in Mahbubnagar
Mahbubnagar: Bharatiya Janata Party Mahbubnagar district president Padmaja Reddy had condemned the attack against Karne Srisailam, a Dait leader, who had exposed the alleged corrupt and suppressive activities of Swarose Organisation which was given the contract of running various Gurukul Schools across various districts in Telangana.
Earlier, Karne Srisailam met with Governor ESL Narasimhan and gave him a representation about large scale irregularities by Swarose Organisation run by Praveen Kumar. In his representation, the National SC Rights Protection leader Karne Srisailam had alleged that the authorities of Swarose were collecting money from unemployed youth in favour of appointing them as teaching and non-teaching staff in Gurukul Schools.
"We have received complaints from various people working in Gurukul schools that the Swarose Organisation run by Praveen Kumar was indulging in suppressive tactics against the teaching and non-teaching staff and harassing them. A few workers and other staff both in teaching and non-teaching were arbitrarily removed from their posts to give way for others who had paid money. When the dalit leader raised these issues, some goons of Swarose attacked him. This kind of aggressive attitude clearly exposes the true colours of the Swarose Organisation. We condemn this and demand the government to immediately take action against the culprits," said Padmaja Reddy.
However, on the other hand, the staff and other Dalit organisations in Kalwakurthy staged a protest against Karne Srisailam and burnt his effigy. The Swarose staff and members of the Dalit associations observed that Karne Srisailam was unnecessarily throwing mud on Swarose Organisation.
