BJP deceived jobless youth: K Kavitha
Karimnagar: Reminding the public that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an election promise in 2014 of providing two crore jobs to the unemployed youth after coming to power, Nizamabad MP K Kavitha questioned the BJP leaders to reveal how many they had given to the jobless youth across the country.
She had participated in the election campaign in Pembatla and Konapur villages of Sarangapur mandal in Jagtial district on Saturday. Addressing the public, Kavitha thanked all the people, who strived hard and gave a bumper majority to Dr Sanjay Kumar in the December Assembly elections. 'When we started campaign during Assembly elections, we said that our journey of winning should start from Jagtial district and the people of the district gave a majority of 62,000 votes to Dr Sanjay Kumar, which is a record margin in the constituency,' she said.
Though there is an Opposition leader in the constituency, around Rs 1,200 crores were sanctioned for the development of the constituency in the past. Now the TRS MLA will get Rs 2,500 crores for the development of Jagtial, she assured.
Kavitha assured that Jagtial will be developed tremendously in all sectors along with establishing new industries. 'The TRS government will sanction Rs 5 lakhs to all those, who has own land for house construction and in the coming two years, every poor family will get a double bedroom house.'
The Nizamabad MP said that it is the TRS, which achieved separate Statehood for Telangana with just 12 MPs by exerting pressure on the Central government. Imagine what it can do after winning all the Lok Sabha seats in coming up elections, she stated. Kavitha urged all the people to cast their vote for Car symbol and give her a bumper majority in coming LS elections.
