BJP expresses its dismay over Governor's address
Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP leaders on Friday alleged that the government made the Governor to lie in the House. Talking to the reporters after the end of Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan's address to the joint session of the Telangana Legislature, BJP MLA Eatela Rajender said that the Governor was made to lie in the Assembly. The state government claimed that the power production had increased in the state, but it was wrong and questioned why the farmers were not getting 24-hour power. He asked whether there was no power or any other issue.
The BJP leader further alleged that the farmers were selling off their lands as they were not receiving Rythu Bandhu money. There is no mention of Dharani, which is causing injustice to the poor. There is no mention about the double bedroom houses. They made the governor lie on many aspects.
The Congress MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy said that the governor talked strongly against the government outside but talked in a soft manner in the House. He said that if she had talked against the government, even her mike would have got disconnected. The Governor and the chief minister have come to a compromise and the former had talked in the direction of the latter. Congress MLC T Jeevan Reddy said that it has been proved with the Governors address that both the BRS and BJP were the same.
